Welcome to the Montague Housing Authority. Our mission is to provide safe, sanitary housing for low-income families and to manage resources efficiently. Its purpose is to promote personal, economic and social upward mobility and to provide families the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.

The Montague Housing Authority is non-profit, public agency authorized by the general laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Chapter 121b. The Authority was organized and adopted by-laws on July 28, 1948. With the assistance of the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The Montague Housing Authority is responsible for administering public housing programs to meet the needs of low-income families, elderly and the disabled across town of Montague and across Massachusetts.
